the QUARANTUNED MUSIC FESTIVAL
A 24-HOUR, WORLDWIDE, VIRTUAL MUSIC FESTIVAL
AMOUNT RAISED: $1640.00
The first Quarantuned Music Festival - a 24-hour, worldwide, virtual music festival hosted by Amelia Ray - the Adventurer of Rock and Roll - was an exercise in improvisation. Amelia's concert scheduled for Saturday 21 March 2020 in Reykjavík was cancelled, along with the rest of the world, with little notice. So with the help of a few friends, Amelia decided to hold a music festival right from her hotel room. The festival featured 26 participants from eight countries and raised over $1100 to benefit artists worldwide affected by COVID-19 cancellations.
From midnight GMT Saturday 25 April until midnight GMT Sunday 26 April 2020, Amelia Ray hosted the second Quarantuned Music Festival. The 24-hour event featured 47 participants from 28 countries, and raised almost $900, $300 of which was donated to benefit GlobalGiving's Coronavirus Relief Fund, which supports immediate and long-term relief and recovery in vulnerable communities.
From midnight GMT Saturday 23 May until midnight GMT Sunday 24 May 2020, Amelia Ray hosted the third and final Quarantuned Music Festival. The festival raised over $1400 to benefit 45 participants from 21 countries. Where permission has been given, videos from the festival have been posted below.
